Logistic Solutions

TDS boasts its own vehicle fleet.

Additional trucks are sourced as and when required.

Our fleet meets high international safety standards and our drivers are guided by our policy of ‘Safety First’.

All our drivers adhere to high road safety standards contributing to minimal incident and accident free, efficient and timely transportation of cargo.

Our fleet comprises of tractors powered to pull low bed loaders, tri-axles trailers, super-link trailers, side tippers.

Our warehouse is fully equipped with equipment such as forklifts, rigging equipment, pallet jacks and state of the art computer system.

Operations management

The Management of TDS always ensures that the agreement is implemented efficiently and where there is evidence detrimental to the client organization achieving its objectives, corrective measures shall have to be taken instantaneously.

To achieve this objective, a fully equipped operations office shall be established, preferably within the vicinity of client’s core logistics areas.

It will be manned by the Operations Manager and Shift Controllers. A relief Shift Controller will be appointed to ensure that disruptions are minimized.

All Shift Controllers shall report to the Operations Manager who works from 08h00 to 17h00 from Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of operations, the Operations Manager will always be available as a “Stand-by” beyond normal working hours.

The Operations Manager shall ensure that the transportation process of our clients’ cargo is carried out in a safe, expeditious and frugal manner.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Operations Manager shall be, but not limited to the following:

Efficient utilization of Assets

Operations Planning and Scheduling

Maintenance and Quality Management

People and Performance management

Administration- organising and controlling of documents and other paper trails

Liaise with stakeholders when dimensions permits are required

Tracking and expediting of both deliveries and goods to be loaded

Warehousing Solutions

We offer our customers modern, spacious and secure warehousing options in Johannesburg (Cosmo Business Park) that meet their unique needs.

Our warehouse capacity is 3000 square metres. We have access to additional warehousing space in Germiston. Our warehouses are secured 24 hours a day with state of the art alarm system and armed security personnel through a controlled access gate. We pride ourselves in having pilferage at our warehouse and assure our customers of security when they store their cargo at our facility.
